How to get here
Our address is:
700 Curtis Blvd,
Englewood, Florida 34223
Phone: 734-645-3217
You must make your own travel arrangements, and transportation to and from the airports. You will need to rent a car, or otherwise hire transport.
The best and easiest major airport near us is Ft. Myers (RSW). Tampa (TPA) is another option. Each are 90-minutes or less by car from the Living Heart Sanctuary. Sarasota and Punta Gorda have closer, smaller airports, each 45-minutes from our sanctuary.
Please bring a car to your retreat or vacation stay, if you wish to go places beyond our bikeable neighborhood -- though it's not absolutely necessary to have a car, it will give you more independence, and easier access to the beaches. Uber and a county transport system are other options for the occasional outing.
Weather and Bugs
Southern Florida experiences a mild 'winter,' which lasts from December until about mid-February. During these months we have lots of beautiful, sunny weather (always a welcome relief from the northern winters!), but if you visit is during these months you should come prepared for the occasional cool or even cold-snap, when you may need an extra layer or two at times.
December to May you are unlikely to be bothered much by mosquitoes. Florida does have some biting ants, but they won't bother you if you don't step on their homes!
Internet
We do have wifi in the house, which will be turned off at night, from about 11pm-8am.

The bathroom is just across from both bedrooms, and has plenty of storage space for your things, and a tub with shower.
Shared Kitchenette
The remodeled garage has a well-equipped kitchenette, laundry, and bicycles.
The main kitchen is reserved for meals prepared with Ellen.

You may save significant money by booking your airplane reservations early, as fares will continue to rise as flights fill. Spirit Air tends to have very good rates to Ft. Myers (easier and a bit closer) and Tampa.
I look forward to a journey of rejuvenation, inspiration, education, detoxification, healing, and new adventures with you in Florida!
Blessings on your journey to radiant health and your dream life,
Ellen Livingston
